For the upcoming 2025 football season, we offer programs for kids in Grades 1 through 9. Players are grouped by birth year to ensure fair and safe play:
Mites – Born in 2017, 2018, or 2019 (Hybrid: flag football with full gear)
Atom – Born in 2015 or 2016
Peewee – Born in 2013 or 2014
Bantam – Born in 2011 or 2012
No experience is needed—everyone is welcome!
The Fall River Dragons primarily serve families from the communities of Fall River, Waverley, Windsor Junction, East Hants, and Beaver Bank. Our catchment area includes schools within these communities, and players from these schools are given top priority during registration.
If space is still available after players from our catchment area have registered, we may be able to accept players from outside these zones. If you're unsure about your eligibility, feel free to reach out to us at frdragons.registrar@gmail.com — we’re happy to help!
Mites – $300
Atoms – $350
Peewees – $375
Bantams – $375
Proof of age is required at the time of registration.
Your registration fee covers the full program: practices, games, team insurance, and use of specialized football gear.
We supply all the essential football equipment: helmet, shoulder pads, pants, belts, and team jerseys. Families just need to provide:
We also require a $500 postdated gear deposit cheque for December 1, 2025, which will be returned once equipment is handed back at the end of the season.
Safety is our top priority. All players wear certified equipment and are coached in safe contact techniques. Coaches complete mandatory training, and our association follows the safety guidelines set by Football Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Minor Football Association.
Online registration for the upcoming 2025 season opens soon at dragonsfootball.ca:
